One of Aarohan's goals will be to facilitate collaboration and involvement of various nongovernmental organisations in welfare work inAssam . There is so far a very limited presence of national and international organisations in the north east compared to the rest of India . By taking on the role of liaison between governmental and nongovernmental organizations and foundations with similar ideologies Aarohan will facilitate their entry and continued activities in north east India .
